I have a question:
what are the origins of the ashrei and the hatzi kaddish? and can you compare them?

The two are unrelated:

Ashrei is Psalm 145, from the Bible. It is recited thrice daily in the Jewish liturgy. It inspires faith in divine providencial care, and inspires social justice through our desire to emulate God.

Chatzi Kaddish is recited like a curtain that is lowered and raised to delimit each section of the service. It is a mystical mantra based on sevenfold magnification of the Tetragrammaton, yielding koach (28, strength).
